T honed his entrepreneurial marketing style from the heralded seminar company CareerTrack, where he was a founding member in 1982. Known for “beating controls,” (a direct mail promotion that garnered the best, measured results), T learned creativity—by the numbers. In 1986 he revolutionized CareerTrack’s product offering by introducing and producing the first few of many multi-million dollar videos. In 1991 T left CareerTrack to form The Creative Alliance, made up of the finest creative talent in Colorado. The Creative Alliance quickly landed clients such as Celestial Seasonings, Hope Publications, Leanin’ Tree and Fischer USA. The Creative Alliance became known for its un-agency-like approach to business—actually delivering on its promises. In 1995 T brought on long-time friend Bob Byrd, founder of MarketWise, with his extensive media background. In 2000 Heitman Advertsing and Design joined the fold with founder David Heitman bringing his advertising, writing and design team, along with David’s history of delivering results.
A passionate visionary and entrepreneur, T founded Team Promark, a successful sports marketing company in 1999, and Nissi’s, a live music and event center in 2005. T also designed the Bridgetown building, home to Nissi’s and The Creative Alliance. T serves as our creative strategist, developing imaginative, ROI-based business opportunities for our client leaders.

David joined The Creative Alliance in 2001, when he merged Heitman Advertising and Design with the firm, having originally founded his company in the Boulder area in 1989. In addition to his work at The Creative Alliance, David serves a wide variety of organizations as a speaker and consultant on topics including creativity theory, branding, business ethics and media literacy. He authors an international marketing column and writes for several regional business journals. As an award-winning creative director, David oversees the major creative themes and brand architecture that shape the marketing strategies The Creative Alliance implements on behalf of its clients. He and his wife Debby live in Lafayette, Colorado.
