The Creative Alliance Nominated for Partners in Philanthropy Award

May 11, 2009

LAFAYETTE, Colo.—The Creative Alliance, a public relations, marketing and design firm based in Lafayette, has been nominated for a Denver Business Journal Partners in Philanthropy award.

In 2007 and 2008, The Creative Alliance made a significant commitment to the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Colorado, donating more than $40,000 in financial and in-kind contributions to the organization. During that time, The Creative Alliance developed and executed a 25th anniversary year marketing and awareness campaign for the Foundation.

In executing the plan, The Creative Alliance created a logo for the anniversary campaign, developed a website promoting the campaign, created print materials, assisted with fundraising event planning, created television and radio commercials, and facilitated sponsor relationships.

In other philanthropic efforts, in 2007 The Creative Alliance founded Kids Need Art, a mini-grant program benefiting elementary and middle school art education in the Boulder Valley School District. The grants are 100 percent funded by The Creative Alliance. Through Kids Need Art, the firm has donated $775, plus staff hours valued at $7,400, through the end of 2008.

“We are honored to be nominated for this award,” said David Heitman, president of the firm. “Giving back to the community is an important element of The Creative Alliance’s company culture.”
