The Challenge

To facilitate community outreach meetings that garnered valuable and meaningful insight to be utilized in the design and development of a significant site in the heart of downtown Boulder.

PR Strategy

Plan, publicize, manage and facilitate community outreach meetings.

  • Initial planning and strategy development to ensure all team members were on the same page with the objective of the project and the strategies and tactics necessary to achieve those objectives.
  • Media relations that included well thought out press releases and media advisories to increase traffic and exposure of events.
  • Promotional efforts to get the word out that included advertising and flyer design and distribution, blogging, online calendar listings, and outreach to key business and neighborhood associations.
  • Website design and development to offer a communications hub for the outreach events and the project as a whole.
  • Hosting of each community outreach meeting.
  • Facilitation and agenda development of outreach meetings to ensure valuable feedback.

Results

The Eleventh and Pearl team held 5 community outreach meetings with over 100 total participants. Each meeting produced insightful brainstorming and thoughtful conversation that will inform the ultimate design process of a historically and commercially significant property in the heart of downtown Boulder.
